“CINEODISHA - Timeless cinema of Odisha” is a specially designed film platform dedicated to timeless Cinema from Odisha. The platform intends to promote Odisha’s rich art, culture, language and heritage values through handpicked films from the state at international level. CINEODISHA celebrates the incredible journey of over eight decade of Odia cinema through multiple film shows including feature films, short films and documentaries, discussion forums, interactive sessions, workshops, award ceremony and much more. CINEODISHA also pays tribute to the legends from Odia film Industry, at the same time explores global opportunities for aspiring filmmakers and stories from Odisha. CINEODISHA is designed and curated by Odisha born, internationally acclaimed filmmaker, promoter and curator Jitendra Mishra.
Odisha Samaj UAE hosted the opening edition of CINEODISHA in Dubai in October 2021 during the prestigious WORLD EXPO 2020 in collaboration with Jitendra’s Cinema4good Pvt. Ltd. Several celebrated personalities and dignitaries along with thousands of spectators took active part in the 2 days extravagant fest. Odisha Society of the United Kingdom (OSUK) - the largest and oldest association of Non-Resident Odias across Europe Union hosted the second edition of the one-of-a-kind film festival in Manchester, United Kingdom during the 43rd Annual convention of the association on 27 and 28 August 2022. The core team behind CineOdisha comprises of: Jitendra Mishra, Aryaman Padhee, Swastik Sahu, Donna Deb, Amit Rai, Arpit Arora, Priyabrata Panigrahi and others.
